Ling is a highly sought after senior security and project management consultant with 25 years of professional experience. Ling has led and managed a variety of major initiatives and projects, including the development and implementation of mission critical technology solutions and implementations, design of sophisticated IT security infrastructure, IT disaster recovery planning, and business application development for a wide range of clients. His experience spans the spectrum of private industry, various Alberta Government Ministries and even not-for-profit organizations. This diversity of experiences has demonstrated Ling’s exceptional leadership abilities, focus on quality of execution, as well as his innovation and contagious “can do” attitude.

As the CEO of Technology North Corporation, Ling sets company strategy direction and coordinates his troop of professionals. Technology North is embarking on the development of a new venture with an innovative IT solution offering and is positioning itself as a "game changer" and "enabler" in the social service market.

Shaheel A. Hooda

Shaheel currently serves as a Strategic Advisor to Technology North Corporation as has been working closely with management since November of 2009. His experience includes over 15 years in strategy development, capital raising, business and partner development primarily within the software space. He most recently served as CEO of CodeBaby Software for 5 years where he recruited a management team that led the company to become the leader in the enterprise virtual assistant software market with clients and partners across the globe.

Prior to this he was based in Austin, TX at Trilogy Software, a high growth enterprise configuration software company, where he was responsible for international business development and strategic partnering with deals ranging from $2mm to $100mm through licensing and joint venturing. He was also a member of the lead team responsible for launching one of Canada’s first online banking institutions, as well as, advising Fortune 500 executives through his work as a strategic advisor with McKinsey & Company, considered the world’s premier strategy consulting firm. Shaheel has also recently served on the Premier’s Task Force on Technology Commercialization and has been involved in advising some of the restructuring of Alberta’s Research & Innovation System that is currently underway.

Shaheel holds a B.Comm (Distinction) from the University of Alberta (International Marketing, Finance), an MBA (Honours) from Harvard University (Entrepreneurial Finance, Negotiations) and was named as one of the “Next Generation of Leaders to Watch” by Alberta Venture Magazine.
